Announcements for Monday, August 29 No School-PD Day NRTC - In Session HS Volleyball in Osceola @ 5:30 PM - Bus leaves @ 4:00 PM

There will be no JV football game on Monday against Clinton. As of now, we will not play JV games, but this could change as the season progresses.

The Lady Bears Volleyball is headed to Harrisonville next Tuesday, August 30. Game time is 5 pm. Harrisonville does digital admission only. Attached the information to purchase tickets.

School hours have changed at BHS. Note the 10 minutes added to our day.

Welcome Back!

Fall Senior Media Day will be tomorrow at 2pm in the gym. This is for band, football, volleyball, cheer, cross country, and girls golf.

Just a reminder, the high school football jamboree will start at 7:00 p.m. in Lincoln tomorrow night!

Those interested in the Nevada Region Technical Center: NRTC will be hosting a Meet the Teacher Day on Thursday, August 18 from 10:00-6:00! They would love to see students and answer any questions they can. They also still have some open seats in a few of their programs.

In-person registration for 6th, 7th and 8th graders is today, August 11th, starting at 12 noon until 6pm. Please have all on-line forms completed by parents before coming to the school for schedules. Enter through the patio gates and begin in the library. Separate checks will be needed for tech fees vs. lunch accounts. (Multiple students can be on each check.) Orientation for 6th and 7th graders and their parents will begin at 6pm in the auditorium.

Dear Parents and Students, Our NEW online registration module is now ready! We are very excited to make registration faster and more efficient, eliminating much paperwork for you and our staff. YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE ONLINE REGISTRATION COMPLETED, SUBMITTED, AND APPROVED BEFORE... A. Elementary Students: before back to school night. B. Junior High and High School Students: before coming to the building and getting your schedules. Please log in with your username and password using the following instructions. Your username will be your full email address. If you do not have or remember your password, you should have a reset password email in your inbox or can click "Forgot Password." 1. Go to our website: butlerr5.org 2. Click Menu, and under "For Parents," click Parent Portal. 3. Enter your unique username and password. 4. Once you have successfully logged on, use the menu bar at the top to select your child and the area that you would like to view. 5. You will be prompted to complete online registration on a yellow bar across the screen. Click "View" to start registration. Registration documents save as you enter them. You do not have to complete registration in one sitting. However, your registration will not be considered until you submit it completely. MSHSAA Athletics Meeting: There will be an all sport parent/student MSHSAA meeting in the auditorium next Monday, August 8th, at 6:00 P.M. All parents and students who plan to participate in any sport throughout the year should plan to attend the meeting. Physical Information: Please remember that in order to begin practice next week, you must bring all six pages (Physical Evaluation and Annual Requirements) to your first practice.
