Girls Golf: Butler Lady Golfers traveled to Versailles for another 18-hole tournament on September 18. Juniors led the way improving on their tournament score from Monday at Sedalia Country Club. Individual results: Jena Tourtillott - 106, Ashlynn Hannah - 117, Gabbie Carmichael - 120, Hayley Dooley and Lyla Eldred - 135.

Butler Homecoming Parade 2025
Alumni Floats
We are excited to invite all alumni to take part in this year’s Homecoming Parade on Friday, October 3rd.
Parade Details:
• Line-Up: Begins at 1:30 PM at the Fairgrounds. Please enter through the middle entrance (the west entrance will be closed).
• Staging Area: Alumni will line up at the west entrance of the fairgrounds. Classes should arrange themselves from oldest to youngest.
• Groups: If your class or group is riding together, please gather at the Fair Building first. Once everyone is on your float, you may proceed to the lineup area.
• Parade Order: Alumni will follow the school floats at Fulton Street.
• Start Time: The parade begins at 2:00 PM.
We would love to see as many alumni as possible represented in this year’s parade—bring your class pride and help us celebrate!

Business Floats
We are excited to invite local businesses to take part in this year’s
Hollywood Homecoming Parade on Friday, October 3rd.
Parade Details:
• Line-Up: Begins at 1:30 PM at the Fairgrounds (enter through the east entrance).
• Business Staging: Businesses will line up on the west side of the rodeo arena and continue south toward the back of the grounds.
• Order: Businesses will follow Alumni entries in the parade. Large trucks are asked to stay near the back, though exact order is flexible.
• Group Entries: If your business is meeting as a group, please gather first at the Fair Building. Once your group is ready, you may proceed to the line-up area.
• Parade Start: 2:00 PM
No political floats will be allowed.

Girls Golf: Butler Lady Bears hosted a Tri with Adrian and Versailles on September 16. The Lady Bears continue to improve, shaving off another 11 strokes from their team best for a 220 team score. In addition, Gabbie Charmichael, Lyla Eldred, and Ashlynn Hannah scored personal bests. The Lady Bears were led by Juniors Gabbie Charmichael and Ashlynn Hannah with a 49 and 52 respectively; Lyla shot a 60, continuing to make improvements each day. Gabbie Charmichael also had her first birdie on Hole #7 with a bomb of a drive, a nice approach shot, and a chip in for a 3! Congratulations!! Overall results: Versailles Varsity - 1st Place, Adrian - 2nd Place, Butler - 3rd Place, Versailles JV - 4th Place. Also noteworthy, Versailles golfer Keanna Mims broke their school record shooting a 38 and winning the Tri. Adrian's Kennedy Bridges logged an albatross on #9, a very impressive 2 on a par 5! Congratulations to those young ladies. It was a great night at the Butler Country Club!



Both Junior High A and B Volleyball teams came up short tonight against Adrian and Sherwood. The Bears will look to regroup and bounce back this weekend in the OHC Tournament. 🏐🐻
