Let's celebrate those Chiefs with a spirit week!

The Butler Scholar Bowl team traveled to Lone Jack on January 29th to compete in a match against Adrian and Lone Jack. The Bears had a solid performance, remaining undefeated for the evening. The final scores were Butler 170- Adrian 40 and Butler 240-Lone Jack 10. Easton Woolace led the team with 110 toss-up points, while Ronen Hilgenberg contributed 60 toss-up points. The Scholar Bowl team will compete in Districts at Lone Jack on April 12th.

Attention SOPHOMORE students and parents: The NRTC tour date has been changed to Friday, February 7th. All sophomores will leave around 11:10a.m. by bus and will return approximately at 2:00p.m. The cafeteria will provide a sack lunch prior to the tour.

The National Honor Society wanted to help the Archie Community by raising funds to donate to the families of the recent tragedy. Before the Christmas break, NHS held a bake sale and the student body, Club 23, and the community raised $600.00! Way to go everyone!

Congratulations to the following student-athletes who earned Academic All-State honors this volleyball season: Adyson Clover, Kamden Fennewald, Lanie Hill, Tandee Hiser, Toree Hiser, Kalie Korkmaz, and Georgia McCoun. To earn this honor, athletes must participate in 75% of their team’s Varsity sets and maintain a 3.6 cumulative GPA or higher.
