Butler Bear Junior High boys football lost in a close one at Versailles last night - 6 to 0. The defense played great, flying around making plays - giving up very few yards. The offense had a hard time moving the ball and sustaining drives against a much bigger bunch of boys from Versailles. Proud of the boys and they'll give it another go next week.

Girls Golf: The Butler Lady Bears hosted a Quad on September 9 and were able to shave off a couple of strokes from their previous team score. Team results: 1st-Adrian Varsity, 2nd-Butler, 3rd-Adrian JV, 4th-Oak Grove, 5th-Stockton. Individually, the Lady Bears were led by Juniors Jena Tourtillott and Ashlynn Hannah with a 56 and 57 respectively. Lady Bears will be at home again on September 11 against Adrian and El Dorado Springs.
The Varsity Lady Bears picked up their first conference win tonight over Warsaw to move to 3-0 on the season. ❤️🏐🖤
The JV Lady Bears got a thrilling victory over Warsaw in 3 sets. After winning the first and losing the second sets, the Lady Bears battled back from being down 9-17 in the 3rd set to win 26-24. ❤️🏐🖤
The Lady Bears C team lost Warsaw in 2 sets.
