HS and JH credit recovery summer school will be June 6-June 30.
Students will need to attend Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to noon.
Mrs. Duvall will contact students who will need to attend.

JH Athletics (6th Grade Addition): Beginning the 2022-2023 school year, MSHSAA will now recognize 6th grade in the MSHSAA membership options. Those schools that choose to enroll 6th grade into the membership may pick and choose which sports actually include 6th grade.
Butler R-V will include 6th grade for our membership next year. Every sport next year will include 6th graders, except for football. Understand that because numbers could substantially increase for different sports, cuts may be needed in order to keep team sizes reasonable and allow plenty of playing time for each student.
This summer, 6th graders will not be included for weights and conditioning. However, be on the lookout for specific sport information such as camps, open gyms, and summer contact days.
To participate in any summer activity, you must have a completed physical and turned in to the coach. These physicals will later be required to be uploaded onto SIS once the function is available.
Any questions can be sent to Coach Duvall at jake.duvall@butler.k12.mo.us.

Summer Dead Week Reminder: Summer dead week will begin July 30th and end on August 7th. Fall practices will kick off on August 8th for high school sports and August 15th for JH sports.

Athletic Physical Information: Butler R-V will be transitioning online physicals to SIS starting August 1st. While PRIVIT has helped streamline the physicals, SIS has a function now that allows for parents to upload documents straight to the system from any device. This in return, allows SIS to be a one-stop-shop for all student information anywhere from enrollment to physicals for the Butler R-V School District.
PRIVIT logins will expire on July 1st. For those who have physicals on PRIVIT that are good through next year, may login and print or download those documents and later upload once the SIS function is available. For those who will be getting new physicals this summer, please fill out all six forms by hand and turn into coaches for summer activities. Once SIS is available, you can then upload the physical for school access.
Once again, physical evaluations are good for two years from the evaluation date unless noted by the physician. MSHSAA requires that the Annual Documents (pages 4-6) be filled out every year.
Physicals are now required for band members, flag corps, color guard, and twirlers. Because this is a new by-law per MSHSAA, those participants who only need a physical for those activities have until August 1st.
Any other student wanting to participate in summer athletics must have a current physical available to participate.
Questions may be addressed to Coach Duvall at jake.duvall@butler.k12.mo.us.

Summer Weights and Conditioning Information: Summer weights and conditioning will be available to all incoming 7th graders all the way through high school this year. There will be one session for all each day (boys and girls).
The first day of conditioning will be Tuesday, May 31st. The first week will run Tuesday to Thursday. After that, weights and conditioning will run Monday-Thursday each week.
