Varsity baseball picks up a big win at Liberal tonight with a score of 10-6. Congrats Bears!
We will start state MAP and EOC testing this week. This week (4/23-4/25), we will be testing all 6th - 8th graders and most 10th graders in ELA. Please ensure that your student(s) is getting a good night's sleep, eating a healthy breakfast, charging their Chromebook nightly, and bringing their Chromebook to school daily. Please give them lots of encouragement to do their best on their test.
We will also be offering daily rewards for those students who can meet these requirements during testing:
1. Attendance - On time to testing session.
2. Effort/Attitude/Behavior - Come in each day with a good attitude towards testing and give good effort during the test (don't rush, take your time, etc.)
3. Confirm with teacher that they are done with the test before submitting.
4. Have something to do after the test (reading book or magazine, homework that does not require a Chromebook, etc.).
5. NO sleeping during the testing session.
6. Chromebook brought to school with enough charge to complete testing.
We look forward to a great week of testing!

Softball falls in their second tourney game to Concordia 11-6. They have one more game tonight in the Adrian tourney against Skyline at 7:30.
The Lady Bears Softball Team lost their first game to Mt. Vernon, 16-1, at the softball tournament in Adrian. They will play again @ 4:30 PM (or earlier) against Concordia.

Tomorrow is prom!
Promenade will begin at 5 PM. Doors will open to patrons at 4:30 PM. Please park in the Gym (Nursery Street) parking lot. Please be seated for the entirety of promenade out of respect for the attendees. We will load the buses to go to Lakeview at 6 PM. Please help us to ensure that this is a safe and fun environment for our students. Students attending after prom will return at 5 AM Sunday morning from Urban Air. Thank you so much to the project prom organization for raising a massive amount of funds for our kids. They have worked their tails off. Thank you so much!
All games for the Adrian Softball Tournament will now be played at Adrian. Butler will be in pool 3 on the South Field. 605 NE State Route 18 - Adrian, Mo. 64720. The Lady Bears are scheduled to play Mr. Vernon at Noon - Concordia at 4:30 and Skyline at 7:30. Good Luck Lady Bears!!

Due to wet weather - tomorrows Adrian Softball Tournament has been pushed back to a 12 O'clock start. In order to get the tournament completed in one day, there will be two sites. Butler and Adrian. The Butler side of the bracket will be played at Butler, starting at noon. We will send out more details tomorrow as information becomes available.
Today's JH Track Meet at Adrian has been cancelled.
