Free Thanksgiving Meals are provided for residents of Bates County thanks to Judge Julie Highley and other corporate sponsors. You may reserve a meal for delivery or pick up through 4:00 on Monday, November 25 by calling the Carpenters Cup at 660-679-3333. On Thursday, you can still get a meal by going into the Butler Senior Center to dine in or have a meal taken to go. Those that are having meals delivered will need to make sure their dogs are put up. No exceptions so we can protect the volunteers. The meal consists of either turkey or ham, mashed potatoes and gravy or sweet potato casserole, corn or green beans, apple or pumpkin pie. All meals will have dressing, cranberry sauce, roll and butter. The sweet potato casserole has nuts and the green beans are seasoned with ham ends. If you are in need this season, please don't hesitate to get this meal for you and your family!
