  • Butler Bear Band Brigade

The marching band attended the Odessa Marching Invitational this past Saturday. Our scores were relatively low, partially due to the fact that we don't have flags this year. (Flags factor into the overall score). In our class, we got 5th place out of 5 in parade and 4th place out of 4 in field show.

    THE EXCITING PART:

The band was awarded the "Outstanding Visuals" award for having the highest visual score of the 4 in our class. Visual score is a combination of things like feet timing, posture, consistent spacing between people, and straight lines.  If you get a chance to congratulate a band student, please do so!
