Archie March 30

  • Attached are the full results of our HS track meets at Archie (3/31) and Adrian (4/1). Brought home a lot of hardware and the Boys team WON the Adrian meet. Seeing a lot of progress and success early on is very exciting! We hope to keep that momentum into the postseason in early May.

Butler Invitational March 27

  • We're finally back at it!!! After almost 2 years since our last meet we got to have some track meets!! We had 20 teams in attendance for the high school meet on Saturday and got to see some good competition. Our kids have been putting in the hard work and it's exciting to see how we can put our meet sheets together to get them in the best events possible to have the most success. The kids earned a number of medals and the girls finished in 5th place while the boys finished in 9th place! One of our standout results of the meet came from Annalee Gardner with a NEW SCHOOL RECORD in Pole Vault with a vault 3.05 meters (10 ft)!!!! Check out the attached pic for full results.

Like Rich said in his email, THANK YOU SO MUCH to our volunteers that helped out with the meet. Because of your help, more teams want to attend because they can spend time coaching their kids instead of working the entire meet. Thanks to Jake Duvall, Nancy Sutton, Katie Griffith, Nadja Gardner, Pam Craft, Jameson Knox, Sheryl Hannah, Gregg Webb, Lauren Duvall, Aaron Williams, and Makenna Hannah. You all made the events run smooth! Thank you to Alex Hernandez and Betty Alvis with Problem Solvers for running the concession stand. A big kudos to our athletes that worked on the meet for the HS and JH sides. A huge thanks to Eric Sutton for being our tow truck for the multiple busses that got stuck in the mud. And of course our coaching staff for working as hard as they do everyday! I appreciate all of you for your help and making the meets run great!

Grandview April 6

  • The HS track team traveled to Grandview for a meet on Tuesday, April 6. This was by far some of the tougher competition we've seen and will see until the postseason. Despite the fewer number of medals earned, many kids set PRs and used this meet to challenge themselves against that tougher competition. Attached is the full results. Notable performances below.

    1st Place - Long Jump - Taitlyn Madison - 15' 5"

    3rd Place - 200 m - Taitlyn Madison - 28.97
